Paragon's Environmental Health Inspection System
We have worked extensively with NACCHO and a number of Local Public Health Agencies in the development of our Environmental Health Inspection system. Launched initially as a Food Safety Inspection system, it has evolved to enable support of multiple programs, such as food establishments, swimming pools, septic tanks Hazardous Waste Facilities and others.
If you've been to our site before, you'll know that we used to have a brief video posted here, which demonstrated how an Inspector would use the system. However, given the rate at which we add enhancements to our system, it is very difficult to keep the video up to date. One of the functions that we get the most feedback is our Ad Hoc Query, which allows a user to create their own queries and save the output in an Excel spreadsheet.
Very often, people assume that the cost of an automated solution is unaffordable; especially in smaller Local Public Health Departments. As a result they continue using paper forms to collect and store information. We have created a cost justification model that allows you to quickly calculate the savings that can be achieved by your Health Department through the use of our system.
