Have you ever been asked to provide a report containing specific information regarding inspections, establishments or staff, and been unable to because you didn’t know how to find the data?
If you are collecting and storing inspection information on paper, it is almost impossible to respond to requests like that without a lot of manual searching and analysis.
It’s also a common frustration amongst users who store information in a database…and often results in calling a Database Analyst to help you to find the information or spending hours doing searches and applying sheer muscle to the problem.
We have developed an Ad Hoc Query function that allows Managers to create their own queries, without the involvement of a technical resource. It allows you to string together as many search criteria as you need to find the information you are looking for, and to format it in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for further analysis and reporting.
